Notin - do you believe a major league baseball GM (or President of Operations) should know when not 1, not 2, but 3 of his current 25 man roster players are getting surgery? is that the least bit important to a GM that 3 of 25 players are having surgery? sorry, the man looks clueless on this and doesnt get a "pass" from me.

Actually Sale was a 6.1 WAR player in 2017. we could have replaced him in the rotation with an 'average' pitcher and still competed in the playin game by 5 games.

you know...except when he trades your #1 prospect for a pitcher with a hurt arm. (see: POM POM). also, perception is reality. and the perception is that DD hasn't a clue about his players. "No one is scheduled for surgery" four days later: 3 players have gone under the knife.

some will tell you it does not matter where a player bats. the results will remain the same. of course this is hogwash.

DD is an idiot. this is now 3 different players that have had surgeries in the 5 days since we have been knocked out of the postseason and his declaration that no players require surgery. FIRE DD NOW.

i would like to think that he would do whatever is in the best interest for the team he owns. but you may have a point. after all, we are talking about a selfish guy that refused to move off of SS for the best SS that ever played the game and he also made his team wear a Jeter patch on their hats for the final month or two of his goodbye tour season. actually after typing this out i firmly believe he wont give a flying EFF about the yankees fans. he will do whats best for derek jeter.

The play is 100% cut 4. there is no league above 10U baseball where that throw should go to 2b with the winning run circling the bases. where the batter ends up on that play is irrelevant. the fact that Didi didnt complete the play is because that play shouldnt have ever gone through him. that is the first baseman's throw to make. if the throw is cut 4 the 3rd base coach would never ever ever have waved Altuve home. the second he saw cut 2 he waved his arms like a windmill on a tropical storm day.....

that loss is 100% on Judge. he threw to the wrong cutoff. that ball has to be thrown to the firstbaseman (cut to home). the runner going to second is meaningless. terrible play by judge. coming up small in the postseason.
