all 3 of those guys are in the lineup every night anyways. why would i remove a GG CFer to move JDM out of DH spot? to put holt in the DH spot? i've seen enough of Beni in CF and JDM in RF/LF to know that i do not ever want to see this as my "regular" outfield. i think Cora is like me...he doesnt care if JBj hits. he needs him to lockdown CF. would he like him to hit? of course. does he "need" him to hit? nope.

who do you propose to replace him in CF? how many of this years L's can be attributed to no hits from CF position?

agree 100%. there are a handful of CFers that make that catch. JBj's first step is so quick he makes that catch look "easy". I am glad he is on our team.

JH has other revenue streams. does he take a salary from the Sox? if so, that would be part of the operating expense not reflected in the operating income. i would also guess that there are some significant "expenses" that get written off.
