I think we’ll do what we’ve done mostly all year. Mookie is not playing 2B unless ... Machado takes out all of Kinsler, Holt, and Nunez... something ridiculous like that. I see Mookie in CF, Beni in LF, and JD in RF. JBJ is the defensive replacement leading late. I’m not against Betts playing 2B, I just don’t think that will happen.

It’s funny, you wouldn’t know that from some of the articles I’ve read. Everyone continues to count out the Sox, but when they win, the other half of the media says they weren’t underdogs anyway. And how it’s somehow obnoxious to think we were. I don’t think we were necessarily underdogs, but going against dangerous teams and we all know anything can happen in the post season. It’s all noise, and I’m really trying to tune it out this time around personally.

Yeah he undoubtedly interferred, no question. Betts, 2-time Gold Glove in his short career had that all the way and he robbed Betts of maybe one of the greatest catches in post season history. The rule book says it’s an out. I’m torn though, I could see that being called a ground rule double, but rules are rules. This isn’t veitnam. “Mark it Zero!!!”

I think we could’ve had an rbi Hit &/or walk in us somewhere from Holt and/or Moreland. Hard to say, they kept getting HBP. Not our fault.

Sox aren’t no slouches on the road either. We take one it’s back to home field advantage for us. Although I don’t think that’s a huge advantage for these two teams this post season, but I think it helps in a game 7 if it comes to that. It’s not just the crowd, it’s last outs.

Kinda what I’ve been saying all year including the off-season. Yanks are good, but their young guys aren’t quite there yet (except Judge), compared to Boston’s young core. You can have a lot of young talented up and comers but they need to play as a team, with chemistry, communication and take enough hard knocks on the way. Sox core has been more battle tested by comparison. I have every reason to think the Yanks will be better next season with more experience and who knows what pieces you’ll add over the winter. There’s good reason for all the recent Yankee hype, it’s just a bit premature, that’s all. You had a great season JM and I’m sure I’ll be hating the s*** out of you and your Yanks for seasons to come.
