    Question is do you want give 10 plus years at 30 million which Harper and Machardo will want. Not many 10 years work out great and you have Stanton and Judge and homwruns not a problem just broke mlb record. I think pitching is where all money go and upgrade first base. Imagine Hasmer.400 bop with judge and Stanton and Sanchez. I think about how he stayed away from Cano 10 years and look at how great that work out and how bad after Arod opt out giving 10 years and you finally getting near end of Ellsbury contract. You win 100 games upgrade rotation you be set for next 5 years. Top of rotation starter all you need and if you create hole look for Castro type fill in

    I rather spend money on bullpen as Erod and Price and Sale and Porcello and let Wright and Johnson battle it out and sign a low risk guy. Need to shore up bullpen make sure we have a reliable closer and look at 2nd base if we’re worried about Pedroia and can use a platoon offense guy to go with Moreland. Haven’t had good first baseman sense Gonzalas in 2011 and Youkilis. Keep outfield in tact.

    Do dodgers pitch Kershaw tomorrow hoping not to play wild card or save him in case they lose tomorrow or have him fresh for 2 games in 5 game set

    Even though we’re resting guys getting Workman and Erod and Cuestes get lit up by Yankees make me nervous facing them in playoffs we’re resting guys so offense doesn’t worry me but pitchers still need to pitch well for the few innings there used

    Needed it cause no way we hold them in 10th but the bullpen is going to lead us to another early exit from playoffs. We need everyone sharp. Hopefully Vaqueez and Sale and Erod. Vaqueez can only hope that he makes a difference oppose to Swinhart catching

    God damm it with bases loaded should put Kimbrel in at least lose with our bullpen ace. No excuse to blow the game even when tied not put him in we’re home have last at bats. 3 game losing streak you need to do something to turn things around. You may only use use closer 1 inning most of year but the team despite now and this lose will have everyone thinking 2011 again. There no excuse to blow 3 run lead to worst team in baseball at home. I always love Cora but at least Farrell would have put Kimbrel in there to try turn things around get momentum and confidence back in on the team coming off first sweep of year

    Jesus this team looks lost. What the heck wrong besides price the rotation sucking and offense is in a bad slump and losing Devers and Martinez and Benny the lineup lost lot of power

    Dozier range is been over 4and half his whole career and still over 4 this year and Holt is 3.5 and Nunez is barely 3 and dozier going get to lot of balls the others can’t. With Dever going to dL we need Holt at third Swihart backup catcher and focus on improving behind plate not learning a new position on infield. Suppose he gets hurt cause he never played that position in years we have no backup catcher.

    Lorie not alavaible like I said trading Kelly and Nunez calling Lin up or Phillips because adding a starter Eovaldi we have a extra bullpen arm and So Kelly expendable with Pomeranz moving to bullpen. Steve Wright we still have to.

    dozier has range of 4 where our second basemen has 3 and if Pedroia did retire could be a part our solution for few years as we have no one in farm ready to take over if not he help our pitching staff with his range maybe we have to if we got Meiji to see if we can trade Kelly or Nunez if put us over the cap as much as I hate it there not going to help in post season.

    Dozer would be rental but if his defense is good I take him to specially with Devers not staying healthy and questionable fielding. Have Holt platoon with Devers and Nuniz our super sub

    Ben gave away prospects for hannihan and Bailey 2 years in a row traded for closer and they did nothing. He got lucky with Koji. I rather trade 3 prospects for the best closer team control 3 years then every season trading for a closer cause the one you got no good. Ben missed on lot of relievers just got lucky in 2013 with Breslow and Miller and Tazara I think

    Chris Davis contract is from 2016 to 2022. 23 Million only a million more then Hanley. If we can resign after year and not have pay Kimbrel huge as he get a deal greater then Chapman probably. I predict Cubs they keep letting there closers walk and will after letting Davis walk see how important a closer is in post season or Nationals even Phillies could sign Kimbrel. Moreland numbers have gone done sense Hanley left.

    I bet if we toke Chris Davis back we could get get Britten for a lot less. with Hanley gone he could become good again with change of scenery like Mike Lowell and Redsox can afford his salary lot small market teams can’t

    david Ortiz number should be retired soon to after he retires. Like people said didn't hate Boggs but didn't love him either. However Mo Vaughn got his number retired so Nomar should I feel
