    Betances is not only a head hunter...... he's a foot hunter....

    He's got serious stuff. I think station is correct as he can't seem to hit the outside of the plate enough to be really effective on the outside. I'd like him paired with Leon and told not to shake off any pitch all game and see what happens. That may be a step closer to being a pitcher than a thrower.....

    E-Rod can be frustrating. Even games where he does well can be really frustrating to watch him. And just when you think he might do well in a game, he can lose it just as fast. Ob and Eck noticed he shakes off lots of pitches. I'd like to see what happens in a game where he is told not to do that. I think E-Rod could be really good........ he's just one step away......

    I'd suggest giving them a call or reaching out to them somehow. Just show some support. Houston just got hit really bad.

    Oh yea.... you mentioned mini-shift and not the full blown shift. I'd be interested in see some stats on how that one hits that takes away. I'm in Austin, Houston is about 3 hours away. We didn't get hit anything like Houston did. At worst I can complain about having to pick up fallen tree debris for a couple of days. Moon is the one deep in the middle of the serious part of it. I know many people that had friend and family in Houston, most of them say their friends and family wished they got out when they could.

    I'm good. Thanks for thinking of me. I'm in Austin. We just had some serious rain for a few days, and got less of it than expected. Moon is the one that was in the middle of the real bad part of it.

    I don't remember the exact figures. This year I haven't followed it, but it's a good amount of runs that defenses prevent uses the shift. Stat people will give you a good look at this. Wasn't it Otiz that just hated the shift and said that it took like 30 hits away from him a year?

    Moon, I forget, are you near Houston or Dallas? It's been raining in Austin for a day straight and the weather report says it isn't going to stop for a while. What's the protocol for sending a duck boat down here for rescue???? Is there some kind of batman/Redsox signal we can shine in the sky?
