    I know this is late, but, fun season y'all.......... strange though huh????? Thanks all for hanging out in the super messed up game thread................ I enjoy the season a lot more being a part of the game thread. I learn a lot from you all and have a bunch of fun hearing your take on what's going on. I tell you, any of you suckers who hang out the whole year on this board are super fans and we all have the Sox sickness and it isn't going away till we are done on this earth. We are passionate, I love that in you all. I'd love to give shout outs to you all, but there are just way too many of you. I'll probably kick it down in the music thread from time to time until spring training. Any of you make it to Austin give me a holler.....

    So you blamed the team makeup and that it didn't have sluggers. And Farrell gets us to a Kimbrel meltdown or a couple wins away from being respectable........... and you blame the manager........choose your poison.......... you can't blame everyone....... Let me guess...... with you at the helm we would have won 100 plus games....

    A full season of a healthy Price would be worth about 25 million we wouldn't even have to spend.

    I really don't know. But the infamous Sept 20th can't be repeated. If it's a blowout in either direction at any time of the year, I'm going to pull him. But I really don't think he was in the middle of any blowout games other than Sept 20th that I can remember. Maybe a pitch count of 100....? A reporter recently asked Farrell about this and his reply was pretty funny. I think Sale just can't go the distance............ It might be due to his delivery. He looks like he is throwing all arm, which I don't think you are ever going to change.

    You know. This is an intersting study. If Sale starts fading at the beginning of Sept, that's about 6 starts too early in the regular season and forget the playoffs. How the heck can you save a starter a month for the end of the season...............? Heck........ I have no idea.

    Yea, maybe there was a misunderstanding....... or maybe someone read your post and had another wacked out delusion where they felt the need to put on their Red Sox super hero costume and defend the coaching staff from the undefendable..... all with a small dose of Don Quixote syndrome.......

    Man...... I've grown to love that you love Ortiz and think he should be the manager. And I have to agree with you about the Devers not playing idea. Imagine that....... Ortiz standing on that first step spitting seeds watching the game as manager................. that would be a beautiful thing....

    It's been behind the scenes. But there has been talk about how Hanley's shoulder has been hurt. I think it is pretty evident in the way he hit this year. It sucks because I beleive he maybe the best hitter on the team when fully healthy. And I understand why he was hurt in 2015 as we all saw him hit the wall. But it almost seemed like he was hurt from the beginning of the year this year, which to me screams out old age or a chronic issue. I guess I see a person who didn't have a play that injured him have an injury for pretty much an entire year and I.......... have to think this is the beginning of the end of the guy...

    He's a good ball player that could be much better without all the stupid stuff he does. Is that hard to understand? I never go here. But I'm really just wondering how you can't see this. Do you watch the games? Because I can't fathom anyone who watched Benni play not see he does lots of total boneheaded stuff...
