    Just a thought. It's not new managers messing with players who are struggling. We all know JBJ won't be batting first for a long time. Take a chance this game. Who knows man....... Cora could have a totally different thought about the whole thing.

    I'd agree usually. He seems to thrive in the 9 hole. And sometimes could have hit higher than that. But he isn't doing so well. I'd say Cora is just trying to mess with his mind a bit. Make him see something new, get him to think about something different. If he starts hitting, then probably slot him back in the order. What's the movie where the catcher makes the pitcher wear womens panties to keep him off kilter. Just like that.

    I'd think JBJ at leadoff is just to give him a different look.

    I believe a healthy performing Price would have the most effect on this team, more than any other player. If he's solid this year, we are more than solid barring any other playiers injuries. Fingers crossed.

    I swear...... we should all get together and make a horror movie about bullpens...... I'm with you, they almost always have a horror movie aspect. Well, they dodged a bullet today even though exhausting a main player. I'll take the win over the Yanks at that cost. Never enough nails in the coffin for the yanks...

    Lin may not be the best player ever, but I've never seen him rattled or act like he doesn't belong in the big show.

    What blows my mind during these things is how much a player has to lose. You get upset about something, slide in with spikes up on someone, take that persons knee out and his career is done. You might have just caused that person and their family millions of dollars. Maybe the difference between a comfortable life, and that person hoping he gets another fairly good price selling a car before the month is out.
