    Good win. Good series. Kind of.....sort of.... The thing with the pitchers we have, even when they don't give up many runs, it's never dominant. It's always by their skin of their teeth. It always could have gotten away. Even if our pitching staff settled down and do what they are suppose to do, it may result in wins, but it's not fan friendly. Hey, Will Middlebrooks just cranked a homer off of Seattle.........

    I totally understand your reaction to Oaklands stadium. It's a dump. I'm probably odd, I like it because it was a dump.

    Yea, it's a s***** field. I paid 22 dollars for behind the catcher seats for a Hudson vs Pedro game. Getting tickets were easy, and prices are real low. The thing is, it's a gritty baseball field. There is nothing nice or special about it. The few Oakland fans that are at the games are serious baseball people, and the fans in the outfield are nuttier than in any park I've been too and wont stop with their stupid horns and drums. I'd say the Oakland fans are some of the most sarcastic - smart ass fans I've ever met too. You never feel threatened or anything, but when their small market team whips your large market team they will let you know about it. I've been to more than a handful of baseball stadiums. And the one in Oakland and the fans there are still my favorite. I really liked that place.

    That happens to me from time to time. I'm in the central time zone. I restart the browser and all is good. I can't tell how many problems I've had with MLB TV in the past years. One day it's good, next day it needs Flash or something. A restart of the browser usually fixes the issue. Even in cases where it tells you you are blacked out. And I'm a tech guy and can't come with one plausible reason why that fixes that.

    Please tell me you come to the game thread every once in a while and give a breaking news post........... it might make it worth it to stick around here while we look up from last place just to see the breaking news..

    So now the story is if our offense can hit a crappy pitcher. The game is out of hand. There has been a few rays of sunshine about our offence. If we get only a couple of runs or no runs off this pitcher.......... I think is telling...

    You have to question it for sure. We knew he was a gamble, but.... I think he was suppose to be the serviceable 5th spot............ he fooled a couple teams early in the season....... but not now...

    Masterson is done. I hate to say it. I swear..... looking at him walking off the mound I'm not sure if we will ever see him pitch again in the MLB.

    That one was a great one to win and to not lose. Oakland is 1 win and 11 losses in 1 run games. And I can't remember back to when Oakland was a pushover. Some gutsy performances in that game. Just win the series. It would be nice to take this next one, the pitching matchup for the third game doesn't look good.
