    Been meaning to post this for a while..... I look at Swihart, Betts, Zander, and Holt. And I think that with 20 pounds more of muscle and a couple of years of seasoning in the league, this group will do serious damage.....

    I couldn't hear the announcers on TV where I was, but this doesn't surprise me at all. I now live in Texas and have found that Texas fans in Austin are real cool to watch a game or talk baseball with......they know their stuff and are pretty even keeled about their team and other teams.

    Heck yea...... finally a dominant pitching performance....... that was quite the first outing...... E-Rod looked like he was hitting mid nineties with ease in the last innings. Heck...... he never looked rattled or concerned....... fun to watch for sure...

E-Rod is new in town....... where a positive outing........ would be something positive.........which has been hard to come by for the Sox....... Nick the under 2 era but can't strike anyone out Martinez will shoot for the Rangers.......... HEEE HAWWW!!!!! This will be a breakfast taco of a 4 game series........... Remember the Alamo!!!!!!!!!

    Lost here too. I can't think of one really good thing that has happened all year. Name one player that has played up to expectations..... The best thing that has happened this year is that other teams bobbled the ball on us for a few weeks.

    That first outing by Wright, he couldn't get anything over other than a knuckleball. I only saw him a couple innings tonight, but the fast ball and a serious bending curve worked a few times......... his outing may be dependent on his secondary pitches... or he prays the knuckleball goes over all night....

    That first game with Wright and Swihart I remember one passed ball pitch where they replayed in slow mo where Swihart had his eyes closed for most of the pitch....
