    2 outs in the 5th. No one on. 78 pitches and you bring in a reliever. I don't think that's the right call. I could see bringing him in if they were a person on, but not like this.

    Us suckers on the MLB package don't get to see before the game starts or after...... so we missed the pregame celebration. Just watched the Ortiz send off....... ugggg......... I loved that Manny showed among many others..... it's not great for us he's leaving........ but I'm glad he is getting a send off like this and going out on top.... he's the best I've seen in my time....... and I don't think will be beat...... I loved hearing from the guys that visited the booth.....like Lowell and Pedro. It isn't hard to tell we are seeing a historic moment right now and are lucky to be around to see it.....

    Well, that whole ending the season thing could of went a bit better don't you think..... At this point we have to hope that our guys are guys that rise to the occasion. They already have shown us in Sept they can do so. Both Vegas and I thinks they can. We also maybe need new hats for the bats............ the recent hats aren't keeping the bats warm enough........

    I think I saw Price pitched the most innings of any starter in the league this year. There is a large correlation between getting the most innings from your starters and getting to the playoffs.... After seeing many pitchers struggle here their first year, and especially seeing Porcello recently............ I like the Price deal a lot. Want a mind f***..... just think if we kept Miley and how good he would have been this year....... I'm talking cy-young.........

    I don't like the closer roll.......... if the eight is blown........... then who cares who is the closer..... I'd rather see the better pitchers come in early and lock s*** down....... then figure out who we would want to expend later on do to the situation...... Kimbrel has looked shaky just recently....... I still wouldn't stray from the path that has gotten us here.....

    I'd could argue that Pedey may be the 2nd best player on the team this year behind Betts.

    Holy Fudge........ .he's probably done for the season, he should be benched........ he should be sent a warning???? Oh man........ I think he may be hitting a rough patch is about it........ but this is the wrong time for him to do so and brings up questions about who is more effective right now.... It's going to be interesting to see how Manager of the Year handles this. I think you proceed as you have during the season, but with caution....

    he walks a high wire sometimes....... and it bit him the last couple outings...... Vasquez saved his ass from that bounced 95 spinner that hit the dirt......... get your s*** together...

    ahaha...... I think your argument is getting stronger every outing......... hell, I'd like to see Koji take the roll, I love that guy. But....... I almost think the 8th inning is more important than the ninth......

    Mookie all the way. Sorry....... Ortiz didn't go out on the field all year and play D. Pedroia has an amazing year......... I love the guy.......... but Betts is the firecracker who lead the team.... It's hard to say, Pedey did so much damage this year with the bat........ but I think Betts edged him out............

    Didn't see it....... but isn't that always the story with him. I like him closing the 9th. But other bad ass closers could come in with a couple people on and shut the door in the 8th. Kimbrel is the least versatile closer you can have...... and it's a huge detriment in the playoffs...... he also gives me a heart attack....

    Xander officially got moved to the 6 spot..... that's a tough call by Farrell......... he was good during the Yankee series..... pitchers have started working him inside now.......
