One play...... one error messed up their whole game........ wow....... this should go back to that thread people were talking about how much defense can effect a game or a team or a season.......... the thing is........ no one cares or remembers how defense effects a game or series......... until you have a crappy defense........ Hell, they got to play the Angels and Oakland and Seattle and Houston most of their games....... I'd like to see them come over to the ALE and see how their 1 run game luck went..... they aren't as good as they look in the W/L column....

It's close. I think Buchholtz is more prone to a major meltdown than E-Rod is, but if he's on he is better than E-Rod. I could see it either way.

I think the addition of Kelly, Koji, expanded roster, and the others settling down helped. A few weeks ago you could have thrown anyone out there and they were horrible. Someone please queue that statement about the bullpen making or breaking a manager................. if anything....... Farrell weathered the storm when the bullpen was crap....... I'm warming to Farrell........... if he wins the ALE this year, or even comes close and he's already there.......... you have to consider he is better than ok........... also add that championship a few years ago....... I think the best assessment is that he is ok.............. I can give him that and even with every game we gain a lead I give him a bit more......
