Im thinkin papi should hit third. Theres been way too many instances lately where he gets on with no one on cause of an elsbury, pedroia, victorino 1 2 3.

Ya, thats a huge problem right now.

What is also really killing them now is lead off hits, not being able too string hits together, and pedroia's two hit games. Up until recently, it seemed like every game pedroia would get two clutxh hits that would score some runs for this team. Since hes been slumping, that hasnt happened and no one is getting on for papi too drive in.

Thats very true about the rebuilding at the deadline. I really hope fluke performances by players on this team will not cost this team a shot at the playoffs.

And now we see iggy not getting those lucky dribblers anymore, making him all defense now. He was having a stint a month ago where he was hitting for a little bit more power but lately hes been herrendous.

Drake britton hasnt played much at all but hes pitched pretty damn well.

This sox team isnt a team that doesnt hit bombs, but its pretty middle of the pack. We could really use the long ball on nights like these when we cant string hits together.

I really dont want this team too go back in second place. Nava , carp( not through his fault), and iggy arent giving the sox the production they were. Combine that with drews s*** at bats, i think the sox should consider getting another power batter too bolster up this lineup.

Theres no question him and Lackey are leading this rotation now. Last outing vs the mariners, his fastball command was excellent, even later in the game. His fastballs were mainly low and away or low and inside. He also had that big loopy curve ball of his working.

Same with me. But that one game elimination wild card game scares me too death.
