  1. Hahahaha agreed. Its just because of how frustrating price has been the last two starts.
  2. Doubront has gotten very lucky today. If he was pitching like this too baltimore or detroit, it would be a lot more than 2 runs on the board
  3. Well, that was what vintage doubront was. 100 pitches by the fifth and he didnt pitch the sixth up until his last 10 or so starts.
  4. Well this lead seems almost insurmountable now
  5. Lets just get Snyder too charge the mound and break davids collarbone, just like what happened too Greinke.
  6. God make it storm now, pleasssse.
  7. only one who can get good hard contact is papi. Hes hit two rockets so far.
  8. I really hope so.
  9. Pedey missed that pitch.
  10. Pedey needs too end this slump s*** right now.
  11. Its just looking like his stuff is just too hard too get solid contact on, regardless of the approach the sox take.
  12. That btter not be the game right there.
  13. Not normally, no. But against price, even though he had a hr against him last time he faced him, we need too get runs by manufacturing them.
  14. we need too capitalize on the papi double.... And we didnt. Nap should have bunted.
  15. enough is enough. They gotta shut this team down tonight and show them that a 57 million dollar team shouldnt be a division winner.
  16. Good points, my view point is similar.
  17. If you guys havent seen it yet, the sox have 8 prospects on the revised mlb top 100 prospects list, notably xander at 6, but it also includes henry owens, trey ball, matt barnes, anthony ranaudo, allen webster, garin cecchini, and jackie bradley jr. Thoughts about this? Link below: http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/prospects/watch/y2013/ipad/
  18. Sure, since peavy is only 32 and although has a higher era on the season, i dont see why he couldnt be a mid 3 era pitcher for us. But, now with the white sox gm saying that he would want bogaerts for peavy, i wouldnt be willing to do that.
  19. Also, the sox starting pitchers as a staff actually have allowed the most walks in the al, but they havent let those wlaks hurt them.
  20. Its simple: If the sox make the playoffs, which team would you absolutely not want them too play?
  21. True, true. I have similar thoughts.
  22. The sox starting pitching has been very good this year, as it is second in the al with a 3.79 era. There starting pitchers are also a combined 45 and 30. Simply put, there starting pitching has taken a huge leap from last year in the right direction. With buchholz not having pitched since june 8th, do u think the sox should bolster up there rotation by adding a man at the dead line or should they keep the rotation as it is?
  23. Good that yanks won, but workman vs price tommorow.
  24. pedroia needs too get out of this damn slump before nap starts slumping again.
