  1. Just when he was starting to really cool down over the past couple of games or so, he hits a bomb. He won't go away yet.
  2. He swings out of his ass every damn time he's up. Now this wouldn't be a problem if he was still hitting bombs and doubles, but it is becoming one since he hasn't been doing either. I don't know if this is normal for him since I didn't get to see all of his games as a marlin or dodger. I hope this is isn't due to management telling him that they wanted him to be a big hr guy when they signed him in the off season. Either way, he needs to seriously start making adjustments.
  3. Wow. That Trayce Thompson guy is Klay Thonpson's brother. Pretty athlertic family.
  4. Miley and procello are similar pitchers. Besides the fact they have contrasting handedness, the only real difference between the two this year was Miley was able to keep his fastball down in the zone much more often than rick (who couldn't keep his sinker down at all). With saying that, if he does correct that, I don't see him doing much better than what Miley did this year.
  5. Miley is lucky to have only given up 2 runs. If the white sox didn't suck, this outing could have been a lot worse.
  6. Dave O'Brien is fine for radio. Not for the tv.
  7. Amen. Terrible choice by nesn.
  8. Bradley has had a a couple of those this year. He hasn't been too great this year at judging balls off the bounce.
  9. Hahahhaha. I sure hope so.
  10. He's been the worst of the recent cubans to defect (like yasmany tomas, puig, abreu, and cespedes), but he has been impressive recently.
  11. Thats exactly how I feel. There is no room for the guy in next years rotation. Wade, buch, erod, and rick are certainly inhead of him. Now that rick is back to start, I would like to see steven wright take joe's spot so he can got to the pen.
  12. Tough play for pablo. I'll let it slide because he's made a number of excellent defensive plays today.
  13. As long as the sox don't sacrifice too much offense at other positions and he doesn't regress to how he was before his demotion last year, I''m be okay with him starting in the outfield. Baseball is entertainment, and nothing is more exciting in baseball than spectacular fielding plays and home runs. If they can't get a good pitcher in a deal where he is one of the main players in and not just a throw in, keep him.
  14. JBJ will have to start making adjustments now. He has hit inside fastballs better recently, but this is really the first time in his career pitchers have to make adjustments pitching to him because of the good offense he has shown recently.
  15. This team is in serious need of an enema to clean out all the s*** backed up in it.
  16. Thats how I see it. How could you hate on Manny or Papi for roid use when from 2004- 2006 the two of them averaged nearly 100 hrs and 300 rbis a year. That is just ridiculous production.
  17. To be fair, it's only one bad outing. Also, the consensus among scouts was that he would become a 3 and at best a 2. We started to overhype him based off of what he did last year in portland.
  18. Only way both should be in the rotation is if the other three starters are studs.
  19. I would be okay with trading him, but not just for the sake of trading him. In any deal that contained him, I would want a valuable, proven starter in return. With saying that, the sox do have a number of players in house who can play second. Mookie and Brock could play there right now, and by 2017 Yoan Moncada may be able to if he can overcome the problems he is currently having. With sayinf that, I still would rather the sox trade some of their other highly touted prospects (devers, swihart, margot) before him.
  20. Sox have shown today they can mash s***** pitching.
  21. Felix has looked like s***.
  22. This. Not one guy in the original starting five had proved they could be good consistently.
  23. I guess we have to agree to disagree.
