I understand the game just fine. You clearly have a problem with folks who have a different opinion than you do. And I didn’t call SS a “Pollyanna”. YOU used that term. Remember: no one can MAKE YOU FEEL irritated or any other way. How you handle external events is entirely up to you. Cora made a mistake today and it cost the team a win. Deal with it.

Whatever. But what you see is what you get. I’d be posting the same thing here if no one gave me “the attention I supposedly crave”. I comment on the positive and the negative aspects of this team. Seems some here are a bit thin skinned though….

It’s called “debate”. One person takes a position and another person takes a different position. If we all had the same opinion that would be called an “echo chamber”. Echo chambers aren’t particularly interesting.

He should be fired but not just because of today’s blunder. I’m not the only person who has called for him to be fired. Not now-at the end of the season.

Face facts: Cora cost us this game. All we can hope for is that it won’t matter, but the race is very close and all the games count.

I realize that. But at the end of the day baseball isn’t a sports for wimps. Today we lost a game because Cora refused to ask him to pitch the ninth. I’d have told him he’s pitching (I doubt he would have refused ) and just do the best you can-give us what you have.
