  1. I don’t remember him ever being used three days in a row. That doesn’t mean he should never do it. If ever there ever was the time to do it this was it. In my opinion Cora blundered not making use of him. Yes, there’s a chance he could have gotten injured but that’s a chance I take if I’m the manager. We are in a very tight race to make the playoffs and like everyone else here I’m getting tired of missing out on October baseball. You gotta use all your bullets in this situation. The bottom line is that we lost a game we likely would have won had Chapman come in for the ninth. Hopefully it won’t cost us the playoffs. But it’s getting late. You pull out all the stops now…..in my opinion of course.
  2. What’s in the past is now history. My OPINION is that Cora made another mistake by not using Chapman, who threw all of three pitches yesterday. You and others hold a different opinion and I respect your opinion. But I don’t agree with it. Too bad you can’t afford me the same.
  3. For sucking. If he did his job yesterday Chapman would have pitched today.
  4. I understand the game just fine. You clearly have a problem with folks who have a different opinion than you do. And I didn’t call SS a “Pollyanna”. YOU used that term. Remember: no one can MAKE YOU FEEL irritated or any other way. How you handle external events is entirely up to you. Cora made a mistake today and it cost the team a win. Deal with it.
  5. Whatever. But what you see is what you get. I’d be posting the same thing here if no one gave me “the attention I supposedly crave”. I comment on the positive and the negative aspects of this team. Seems some here are a bit thin skinned though….
  6. He threw THREE PITCHES in last night’s game! I think he could have managed a few more.
  7. Whitlock has been pretty effective. I don’t trust the other GW nearly as much as.
  8. It’s called “debate”. One person takes a position and another person takes a different position. If we all had the same opinion that would be called an “echo chamber”. Echo chambers aren’t particularly interesting.
  9. He should be fired but not just because of today’s blunder. I’m not the only person who has called for him to be fired. Not now-at the end of the season.
  10. You really should try to pay attention more. You could certainly learn something from my posts.
  11. Face facts: Cora cost us this game. All we can hope for is that it won’t matter, but the race is very close and all the games count.
  12. I realize that. But at the end of the day baseball isn’t a sports for wimps. Today we lost a game because Cora refused to ask him to pitch the ninth. I’d have told him he’s pitching (I doubt he would have refused ) and just do the best you can-give us what you have.
  13. How many pitches did Chapman throw last night? A: 3 That hardly even counts. I hope this loss doesn’t come back to haunt us. Yes, I blame Campbell-but also the witless manager.
  14. Im right more often than I’m wrong. I get that you don’t like it. Maybe study the game more?
  15. Guess what I’m “bitchin and “moanin” about right now….you get three guesses and the first two don’t count
  16. Here’s how you handle that: we need you in the game TODAY. You’re pitching.
  17. Bregman chokes. Little league ball. They continue to lead the league in errors even though that was called a hit it should have been an out.
