I know its not going to happen. Many of the Boston beat writers have also been calling for that move for a long time...Mazz, Cafardo etc. Its a testament to the stupidity or our FO IMO.

We have an arm. He is named Daniel Bard.
-
This is not ALL on the bullpen. Some of it belongs to Punto.
-
Atchison will walk the bases loaded
-
Nope. Just looked at his stats and read the press on him. I don't watch minor league games.
-
Two on and no one out for the Yankees...I mean A's. We could easily blow this 10 run lead too.
-
Base hit. This bullpen is still aweful.
-
I am not certain about Cook other than believing that he deserves a chance. We already know what Bucky can do. Personally, I think Bard should be in the pen and Cook given a shot at SP.
-
That would be funny if it wasn't true.
-
Glad that inning is over. Bottom line take home message: Buchholz is not ready to pitch in the majors. Cook is.
-
More runs are on the way.
-
Unf***ing believable. This one is not nearly over.
-
Great. How soon can we get rid of him?
-
He had ONE good full year with us. Thats it. Just like Phil Hughes.
-
Buchholtz happened.
-
Time for a prolonged stint on the DL for BUCKYSUCKY. Like for the rest of the season.
-
Why the hell are they cheering that bum?
-
Buchholtz still sucks If you ever want a lemon pitched we know who to send out there. Just pathetic.
-
Get back to the dugout Bucky
-
Aviles is no Julio Lugo.
-

Yeah, but Iggy "prevents more runs" and probably would "call a good game" when he tells Pedroia who should cover 2nd base. Isn't that worth something? Seriously, I give Iggy until July. No production=get rid of him for a pitcher.

Anyone rethinking the usefulness of Jose Iglesias? He is hitting under .200 with an OPS of under .500 right now. I think he should be used to get us a pitcher, maybe as part of a package. Aviles is our SS.
