    7th inning. The Guardians still have 7 runs, all charged to BUMKETT. Seems everyone else has pitched fairly well. How much longer is the FO going to stand by while the franchise burns? How much longer before they actually DO something? How much longer are they going to force the fans to watch a Little League pitching staff?

    He doesn't need to. All he has to do (or all ANY pitcher needs to do) is to keep our score under 7 runs. Then we lose automatically.

    Injuries will happen, but the team is much deeper than last year. At least thats what I have read. Training camp starts in August. Can't wait. Celtics game on now....Red FLOPS game off.

    No, its wasn't. Our FO is so incompetent that they do not see the need to get rid of this self-absorbed *******. Until we get rid of our GM we will keep players like Beckett and Youkilis. Wait and see.

    The Patriots are going to be excellent this year. Their draft picks were very good, and the signed Brandon Lloyd to be a burner on the outside, something they missed last year. Plus, they have one of the easiest schedules in the NFL.

    That doesn't mean we shouldn't try to trade the loser. I think the threat of a newpaper headline that reads "Beckett vetos trade to Royals" would strike at his pride, which he is full of.

    We all know it can be fixed and we all know how it can be fixed. Clean house. Now. The only question is whether the owners have the cajones to do what is necessary. I am betting nothing happens at all other than a minor trade.

    Its not worth it. Some players make other players better. Millar comes to mind. Beckett makes other players worse because they see what he is doing and follow his lead. If we can get anything like value be getting rid of him we need to do it ASAP.
