The question is, what do we do with Nava when Ellsbury, Crawford, and Ross come back. I would hate to rebury him at Pawtucket, but there really doesn't seem to be a spot for him.

Buchholz has been pitching well of late, and our offense is due for some runs. Matusz isn't that good. More importantly, I think the players are going to start to feel a sense of urgency to start winning again.

Wrong. I am pessimistic because our pitching stinks, mostly. I could live with Gonzalez and Youkilis being bums if we had good pitching. We don't. We rank 13th in the AL in overall ERA. Think thats good enough to make the playoffs, even when Bailey comes back? Think about it. Show me a team whose pitching was next to last in their division in the last 10 years that made the postseason.
