There’s no reason they couldn’t have signed Suarez AND obtained a far more talented player or two instead of Durbin or IKF. Except of course that the owner is a cheapskate.

Pretty disgusting team. About to lose a four game series at home against a very mediocre team.

The point is that talent was out there either via FA or trade and we ended up with stiffs. That is one reason why we are in LAST PLACE. Our team OPS is .651, good for 14th in the AL. We are 25th in MLB in runs scored. We STINK. AGAIN. No one should be supporting this team by going to games or buying FLOPS products.

We could have had both. I am sure one of them could have moved. Wasn't Contreras a catcher? Do we have a catcher that can hit the baseball as well as he can? Or we could have had Schwarber as our DH. There were alternatives besides signing the stiffs we ended up with. The results are predictable and visible in our record.

He’s one of the few guys with talent on a team of bums. At least the Bruins and Celtics have good franchises. Because this one stinks.

This past winter I wrote that the offense would be bottom third because the cheapskate owner bought bums like IKF and Durbin rather than Schwarber or Alonso. I thought we’d finish fourth but it seems that was overly optimistic. This team stinks!!!

Finally a convincing win. Hopefully it’s not a one and done. Couldn’t join the game thread today because I was flying to Palm Springs where I’ll be for a few days. I know some of you missed me; others not so much 😉

The time to clean house was this past winter. The FO failed. Again . We are stuck with a bunch of bums again-with a few exceptions.

Checked the standings-there isn’t a team in the ALE playing well. Best teams are a game over .500-which in no way affects how bad this roster is. I mean IKF and Durbin starting???? Can’t win like that.

I show up all the time. When the players deserve compliments I give them out. When the team-especially the owners and management suck-I’ll call them out on it.
