2-0 already Game almost over The choke is on!

If we don’t win the next two games then the Rangers are going to be right on our heels for the last WC. And we still have series against the Jays and Tigers. This could easily be another choke year.

Our offense stinks. WAY too many black holes, starting with Rafaela. Add in a dose of Hamilton, Yoshida, Duran (yes, Duran who has been stinking for a while now), Wong, Lowe, Eaton etc and you get the performance we demonstrated tonight. We have been winning on pitching but at the end of the day you have to score runs to win games. Losing Anthony and Abreu and others are reasons WHY our offense stinks, but it DOES stink. This is going to follow the same pattern as previous choke jobs. Just three games ahead of the Rangers now for the last playoff spot and a very tough schedule ahead. Watch and weep

Anthony going down and Breslow failing to bring in needed reinforcements are some of the reasons for our impending choke job

After this loss Texas will be just three games behind us. And we have a tough remaining schedule. I think we are going to choke away the playoffs!

We needed quality players. We got a loser SP, a guy with a sub .230 BA before he got here and a low leverage RP. He failed. He admitted he failed. It’s widely known he failed.

The old adage “you can never have enough pitching” pertains here. Who is our #5 SP? Tolle? Early? Fact is if Breslow had done his job he would have successfully obtained a #2 SP every pitcher down the line gets moved down. That greatly improves the staff. There were also other needs that weren’t met. The bottom line is that for whatever reason he FAILED.

Max either doesn’t understand English sometimes or he deliberately misquotes other posters to support his misguided positions. Not sure which it is.
