The Red Sox are reportedly interested in Korean right-hander, Suk Min Yoon and Cuban right-hander Raicel Iglesias. I really think that relief pitchers are a crap shoot every year. The more depth you have, the better. Throw pitchers out there in the bullpen and see who sticks.

Red Sox are apparently talking to Japanese reliever Shinsuke Watanabe, a submarine right hander. His wind up is very unique. There is nothing quite like it. Watch how he starts his delivery with the awkward leg kick. Here is a youtube clip of him pitching.

By the way, I come here to talk baseball and not read about stupid fights. Can we all act mature here and stop the unnecessary fighting? We all root for the same team here. It is one thing to argue about baseball related topics such as whether or not the Sox should sign Drew, but do not attack anyone on their personal lives. I know and hope we can all be better than that.

Hassan is also a native of Milton, Massachusetts which is the next town over from me. It would be cool to see a hometown kid playing for the hometown team.

I do not get the sudden love affair for Drew in the offseason. Less than 2 months ago, everybody wanted him out of town because of his horrendous slump at the plate in the playoffs. I understand Drew is a terrific fielder but the fact of the matter is the Red Sox are better off without him. WMB is poised to have a breakout year and Bogaerts will be a star. Why sign Drew and take away at bats to either WMB or Bogaerts when they can put off much better offensive numbers than Drew. I know Bogaerts made a few mistakes in the field but you have to remember the kid is only 20 years old. He will be a better fielder this year with a full spring training and year with the big club. Do not make the mistake of signing Drew.

I do not know if the Sox would go after Granderson just because of the fact that he received a qualifying offer. Our pick would go towards the Yankees and they do not have a pick in the 1st or 2nd rounds due to the signing of McCann and Ellsbury.
