  1. Those are cheap deals for the caliber of talent that Gordon and Butler are. The Red Sox aren't going to add two elite players for that package.
  2. The Royals are still laughing at you.
  3. Really? Brilliant observation.
  4. Trout is the MVP. Gold glove CF with the offensive stats to boot.
  5. Who would have played CF instead of Trout?
  6. Looks like punting the AL East in 2013 is the route we're taking.
  7. The Angels had more wins than the Tigers. The Angels are in the cellar without Trout.
  8. I wouldn't be opposed to adding Kuroda and Marcum. Two solid pitchers on short term deals. We could flip them at the deadline if we aren't competitive.
  9. He is still correct, even if you add what you just said.
  10. Fraud? Give me a break.
  11. Sounds like ********. Apparently, every time another team makes a move, we hear one of these reports that they asked for our best three prospects, but settle for crap from the other team.
  12. Knicks look pretty good to start the year. Too bad they will play Amare at the 4, when he comes back, moving Melo away from his best position.
  13. No one will offer Grienke $25 million annually. I think the point of contention is that some people don't even want to offer him a contract, because of his anxiety disorder. He's proven to be a good reliable front of the rotation starter, something this team badly needs. If they have to pay the premium, because they didn't develop any starters on their own, then so be it.
  14. I know you like him, and he seems like a cool guy, but Pedroia was a highly touted prospect coming out of college and throughout the minor leagues. Aside from a month where he didn't hit, Pedroia always raked. Kalish has been struggling for two years. It's hard to compare the two. I'd like to see what he could do in AAA for a few months.
  15. What do you mean, "these moves rarely work out?" They just added two front of the rotation pitchers, and a star SS.
  16. They didn't stink because of those three.
  17. Another target off the wish list.
  18. I don't see the Jays stopping here. If they wind up with LaRoche, they'll be favorites in the East.
  19. Gaby Sanchez plays for the Pirates.
  20. Oswalt is a good bet to rebound. I think the Red Sox should be on him.
  21. So glad to have mega prospect Anthony Ranuado instead of Josh Johnson.
  22. That was four years ago. Aaron Hill hit 36 HR's that year. Give him a minor league deal, I don't care, but it's not a great idea.
  23. LaRoche has considerably more power than Pierzynski, but no, I don't want LaRoche. He's not a horrible fit, though.
  24. Jason Bay is a corpse. Maybe a minor league contract at best.
