Who was I debating with over if Sweeney was a viable everyday option?? Believe me yet? He's been by far our most productive outfielder this yr -
I actually believe that we can't compare a player when he goes to a different team, exp.. What if he blows his arm out because Philly overuses him? You can't then say " see?? He got hurt, glad we let him walk" .... It's widely accepted that the national league is pitchers paradise ..... Fielder is gone... Pujols is gone... Etc etc... Comparisons wont be fair either way

2011 4-1 31 svs 2.94 era .93 whip?? I'm confused?? Era was high in 2010, but era is widely over-emphasized in closers.... How many gms did he come into that weren't sv situations?? Pap always had trouble in non save sit's... When you only pitch 60 innings it's not hard to have a high era

I believe Griffey could of been a better ss than aroid could of been a cf.... If their upbringings had been reversed..... Sure it's speculation, but Griffey was the better "athlete"

I stand corrected... 600 more ab's for Griffey, but those can be explained as laughable given his injuries towards the end of his career..... I stand by having a gold glove hitting machine in center field than a defensive liability hitting machine at ss/3b
