    I think lee should be the last guy on their "list of mega stars " .... Just saying, that's alot of money for an old pitcher... Personally, given the mets recent struggles, I'd wait a few more days and see where the mets stand with dickey and Santana??

    Because last week they were 2 gms out of the WC and everyone's outlooks were bright....... We've lost a few gms in a row.... It's inevitable that the "doomsday" believers are ready to pack it in..... If we win 4 out of the next 5 , they'll be back thinking we should go all in for Felix :dunno:

    Would you rather he play every day and risk injury? Or take an off day and have him the rest of the year? ( and I only ask this, because there are trained professionals that obviously think he should have a "rest" day, and I don't pretend to know their job better than they do)

    In all seriousness ....the peanut guy at fenway around the box seat area ( 1st base side ) is a freaking beast..... I'm talking about behind the back tosses-10-15 rows over/5-6 rows up.....

    They are very close ( but Ortiz missed 35 gms in 2003 and manny missed 32 gms in 2006 ) plus normal "rest " days......not to discredit arod and Griffey ...just giving them a +1:thumbsup:
