About 2 yrs ago I would say yes, now..... Idk.... I see alot of semi-hard line-drive outs/pop ups turning into singles and singles turning into doubles with his speed or lack there of

I'm not saying we lost BECAUSE of the pen, just saying beckett did what you you want out of your starter EVERY time they took the mound...7 IP 3 runs? I'll take that all yr from all 5 starters

You have to admit, going into the bottom of the ninth down 1 and down 4 are 2 completely different situations.... For one, maybe youk takes off on contact on sweeneys hit etc.... Maybe we bunt youk over... Etc etc .... I put this loss more on the pen than Beckett .....

To be fair to the rotation, a 1 run deficit is acceptable any day against any opponent ..... Not sure but Lester's 1st 2 gms 15 ip 4 runs... Beckett 2 games 14? Ip 4 runs... Bard 7 ip 1 run , not sure about dubronts good start but that's 6 very quality starts

Idk about that... Lester's 1st 2 starts were great, Beckett has 2 great starts, bard has a great start, dubront had a very good outing...
