    Was a " gut feeling "? I honestly thought we would of traded for him a couple yrs ago ( post-Jason bay )..... Just always thought he'd end up a " red sox " one way or the other Edit: just like I "feel" that hanram will end up back in Boston....( I've had the "feeling" for a few yrs though ) :dunno:

    I've always thought we would eventually get Hanley back.....but his "yearly" rumors never really pan out. Some "rumors" you just know, are going to happen... Like we all knew ( 2 yrs before it happened ) that Adrian Gonzalez would be a red sox... I knew , that eventually , Crawford would be a red sox...... I would love to see hanram back with Boston, but not with this deal

    I love ellsbury at 3rd, but I would move Crawford to lead-off and keep petey 2nd before I would do the opposite.... Possible lineup: Crawford Petey Ellsbury Gonzo Ortiz WMB Salty Ross/Sweeney/nava Aviles There's not another lineup in MLB that can match that

    Bailey is making $4 million this yr...say what you want about pap making x-amount this yr and x-amount nextmyr etc..,it boils down to 4 yrs for $50 million= $12 1/2 million/yr Seeing how we've gotten 0 from bailey? Yeah, I'd spend the extra $8 million on pap, especially when we supposedly got rid of Scutaro to save $6 million? Edit: but what do I know? I wish we would of kept nomar:thumbsup:

    Ellsbury>Bradley ......trust me I'm not advocating trading ellsbury at all....the kid is only getting better, 3-5 after missing half the season? Don't give me that injury crap either...both his injuries were caused by another player either colliding into him or landing on top of him
