I'm pretty sure Pedroia would be a better catcher then Salty with just a little bit of practice. Peddy is short, he has good reaction and glove, strong arm with quick release and high baseball IQ which would allow him to call pitches well. Also he works hard as f***, plays through injuries (Which is vital for a catcher, Salty does it too though) and he is better then Salty at talking to pitchers even though he's a second baseman. Salty is a really bad catcher. I don't care if he hits 30 HRs a season.
