I can definitely understand him not wanting to trust the medical staff given their history, and I'm aware bursitis in the shoulder is painful, but it does seem like it's taking a lot longer than it should

Good post. I'd also like to point out the 'Peavy is always hurt' argument shouldn't come in to play when we look at him compared to Buch. Peavy went down with broken ribs, right around the same time Buch went down with shoulder bursitis.. Peavy came back from his injury, and Buchholz is still being funny about his sore shoulder.

Although I love to see Yankees fans turning on their own, and I do agree that A-Rod should get banned.. Nothing would make me happier than to see him come back to their lineup and struggle, and the Yankees have to keep paying him on that god awful stupid f***ing contract they signed him to. -
The six run comeback says two things: 1.) The Ms might need a better bullpen 2.) This team can do anything.

Everyone who has said that Peavy is an injury concern: You are correct, but if he and Buch go on the DL at the same time, you can count on Peavy to come back first.
