Last I heard he was scheduled to throw a sim game tomorrow, then head out on rehab assignment after that. Word is he'll get one, MAYBE two rehab starts and be back in the rotation.

Most of those are against the Sox, and if the Sox can play like they should be playing this year it's never gonna happen. If the sox play like they did yesterday and friday.. Then maybe they can do it.

Ha! I do think they'll ease XB into the lineup.. Give him a quick taste then maybe sit him some too. He'll start getting more regular ABs as the season gets closer to it's end, but for now it's probably just a couple games for him. Maybe some late innings pinch hits/defensive replacements too.

After losing 7 of their last 10, I'm really hoping for a sweep in SF. The Dodgers are going to be the real challenge though.

Ryan Dempster was my favorite player last night for about five seconds. Then he went back to being my least liked player on the team again.

I'm not going to defend what he did per se, but I won't lie and say I didn't enjoy it when it happened. Also saying something like "which is more important" is stupid. Obviously they are both important.

Then they probably would have won the game.

I agree with you, I think it's pretty much guaranteed we'll see him on the mound again starting another game and putting up another 7ER performance.

They have hit CC pretty good this season. In 17.1 innings against the Red Sox, Sabathia has put up 12 earned runs. He had one good start against them where he allowed one run, the other two starts have been batting practice.

They just haven't hit LHP that well at all this season, especially soft tossing lefties.. The only LHP I've seen them tear up was CC, and he's pretty good last time I checked.
