  1. Suddenly Lackey is throwing a lot of balls.
  2. Ubaldo is going to be around 70 pitches at least by the 5th. They're doing a good job working the counts here.
  3. Lackey is mowing these dudes down
  4. Lackey is set so far with his pitch count.
  5. Jimenez isn't going to last long tonight.
  6. It's a solid move. OF depth is looking alright.
  7. I wonder if he's as premature during sex as he is with his plate discipline
  8. Or make massive moves based on a hunch
  9. I'm not sure all of those guys are going to be around in 100 years...
  10. Fred, I really appreciate the info. Thanks!
  11. Hello everyone! This coming May, a monumental event shall be taking place. I will be turning 30. I am going to be culminating my life's voyage thus far by visiting my mecca, Fenway Park, for the first time. I will be celebrating my birthday, and be in attendance on May the 4th for the game vs. the A's. I wanted to pick your brains, those of you who have frequented the park and live in the surrounding areas. What would be the best seats in the house to see the game (max 150-175 ticket price, my expenses are going to be pretty high getting up there.) as well as the best hotels that are close by to the park, and other fun things to do around town (including bars) as I will be there from the 1st to the 5th. Also if any of you would like to meet up and hang out or whatever while I'm there that would be awesome! Any other information that might be helpful please drop some knowledge on me! Oh and MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! I hope it's a fun and safe one for everybody!
  12. I knew I should have said year instead of 18MM per. 18/yr would make sense over 3 years or so, wouldn't go any farther than that really though.
  13. I don't fully get the hate on Peavy. He's a solid pitcher and will be a really good 3rd or 4th starter. As far as I can tell the only thing the Sox lineup is losing on offense is a little OBP and speed. They've added more pop to it with AJ. Defense is an upgrade so far. Unless JBJ falls apart, I think this is going to be a solid team this year.
  14. I know. It was really just a joke about his age. Sometimes he does seem to have a cooler head than a lot of other posters here.
  15. That's what I like most about Ben. He doesn't go around sporting a public boner for big name players and show his cards to everyone letting them know what he's going to do. He plays it smart, and so far he's played it well.
