yes thats what i noticed too.. but that whole setup of 1st pitch throwing just was lame.. even an unorganized event co-ordinator might have done a better job.. the people surrounding the catchers, the cameras... Millar and Pedro both drunk lil too much i think.

at this point i will take Middlebrooks over Repko and DMac any given time... about Sweeney playing everyday he seems like a big guy for an outfielder.. the way he ran the bases that day against Detroit in 9th seemed like he was tired by the time he reached 3rd base...:dunno:

that steal and him calling the ump safe safe, and his slide home on a bill mueller single pumping the fist... memories are still fresh.. man did we beat the Yankees or what ...i still get chills sometimes. -
we need to find that 7th and 8th inning guy that could keep a game close. i think Bobby V tried mixture of arms vs Detroit series and got burned so he decided to keep Morales too long this time and got burned, he is still trying to figure out who that arm is.. and i cant blame him.. no one has yet given him a consistent inning when we are 1 run behind.. and as much as i like BARD is not the answer now. so we need to get Padilla or Morales or Albers to lock in that role. need to make that call to Mike Gonzalez and DFA Thomas big time.

Yep he had loud outs yesterday and thumped the ball today too. Wish he could get better at missing the fielders.

How come our bullpen cannot get their s*** together is beyond me. We have absolutely nobody to give the ball when its a close game and watch their bullpen be lights out

Nico Rosberg won his 1st GP race and the Merc is definitely putting on a show after bad stints on the 1st couple races. I so wish Michael's car just wouldn't have so many issues. The McLaren cars of Jenson and Hamilton look really good. RBR and Ferrari are not there yet for some reason. but the lap where Kimi was in 2nd place and in 2 laps he went down to 12th that was total badluck for the Finn. he strategized on 2 pitstop and his tyres were shot... lets what Bahrain has for us.. i can see Schumi on the podium...

^^ i am worried too about how he pitched against TB and got a win, but this graph is 30 some games he pitched last year to 2 this year.. not a fair comparison.

Salty had 2 screaming outs against Lewis, both were little bit shy of HR balls. maybe he just needs to be trying to hit doubles and not go for the HRs.
