to get Felix, there has to be 3 top tier players surrounding Barnes/Bradley/Bogaerts and add Bard and another reliever... without it Seattle is not even touching this dea.
I am infuriated not surprised. but if there is any truth to why they went to upper mgmt just because Lester was left in too long, i think its BS and Pedey knows better.
if you do not trust your manager, the team is going no where. let him do his job
oh cmon man i though you were on my side.. :dunno:
but in all seriousness, you think Seattle is going to be ready to move Felix for Clay alone ..nada not happening.
and Johnson on Clay is a 1 on 1 move. not really going to help either team. so again i say useless thread
wait a second jacko wants to trade the one guy who is pitching like an ace and his counterpart Hughes is getting banged up ...
no wonder you start these threads..
I have been saying it all along NY fukcing media is after every little detail on what the sox do, and the sox team couldnt have kept this meeting anywhere else but in NY.
every minor thing that sox do is getting blown out of proportion..
there might be some truth to Pedey and Agon whining who knows. but they keep giving media something to portray how bad the team is functioning.
very hard to watch this team play right now!
I BELIEVE.. the chances are very miniscule. but I want to reverse what happened last year and for that the team needs to basically go on a tear, and it boils down to starting pitching and winning games on a stretch not 2 out of 4 and 1 out of 3 and loosing to the Twins for crying out loud.
they need to play collectively as a team and not as individuals.
not literally... sorry wrong word choice there by me..
i mean the concept of getting players who get onbase. Billy Beane showed a different way of winning baseball games and we got players like Mueller Millar who all contributed hugely..
Agree a 100% . Redsox are falling in the same trap the Yankees did when they kept signing big players since 2000.
The 2004 redsox team was a team started by Billy Beane and we are totally walking away from it now.
