Holy s***, they let Aviles off the hook and called that a hit???? Did you guys see the replay. Aviles only had to come in a couple steps and he could have taken that before it bounced. That was a terrible play.

Granted Repko should not have swung but the sign to take should have come from the dugout. Should not have left the decision to Repko. Pitcher was struggling...batter is weak and the bases are loaded with three balls...Geez if V is not going to have a guy take there when is he ever going to have a guy take?

Thanks for confirming it guys. That is what I thought. Don't understand why they just did not have him take. Geez he is not some slugging monster. Take the walk and take the run if you can. Bat should never have come off his shoulder.

I was surprised that Repko was swingin' at the 3-1 pitch. In fact while they did not put up the graphic I think he might have swung at ball 4

Got a lead back. Madden is going to leave this guy in until his arm falls off.

I don't think it was an outstanding performance by Felix today but he got 7 K's, and had the hitters off balance. He had command of all of his pitches and was seldom up in the zone. Two of the hits should not have been hits at all and a number of the base runners got on with dink hits. The pitch to f***head was a really bad pitch and the worse pitch he threw today. So not a great performance but not bad either and certainly promising for a team that really needs to get pitching from some unexpected sources this year in my view.

It might have been nice to keep Lin up temporarily to have at least one true defensive sub for the outfield. Mac is playin' so he is not that. Just not convinced that Repko's bat is strong enough that it makes sense not to have one real defensive sub for the outfield.

Felix should be at 91 or 92 now. They had just talked on the mound before Longoria came up. So ya' know they decided specifically to pitch to him and they had him. Ross should have so had that.

Nice pitch Felix. We gotta' get this bum outta' here so that we can find out what cannon fodder Madden has brought up from Durham for the bullpen for today's game
