    Man I am so impressed with Ortiz. I really was ready to let him go and he obviously went all out in the off season to get in shape and be ready for this season. Hint hint hint to the many Red Sox vets. Ortiz made me eat my words big time.

    El Tiante....one of my all time favorite Red Sox. Man was that guy tough. Used to strike guys out with his mustache.

    Not the last one but the fly ball heading into the right field corner was the best defensive play Sweeney has made for this team to date. That was a much harder play than that little dive he made the other day.

    The Rangers are terrific offensively which is why you can't give them four outs an inning!

    He definitely got squeezed on that outside pitch. Really V...now.....really Good thing there aren't four bases plus home. V would have left him out there for another batter
