True but that just happened and they have not pulled in the extra bench players to have a "full" compliment of bench players right??? Don't they have the same number of bench guys at least today that they had when they had the 13?

Ross is so damn slow....geez....that is the only negatory aspect of sending him...he is just so slow... this is where the 13 pitchers thing hurts us again...normally...just send in a pinch runner late in the game...we don't have anybody to send it....f*** we would have to have Padilla run!

Well I can see V sending Ross there... gotta get in scoring position....plus V has already grown used to seeing Salty throwing to 2nd. Forgot what an actual throw to 2nd from a catcher looks like.

Bard really does need to work on his concentration....he was just gassed there through. So if that is what V wanted that was like asking a guy dying of thirst if he would like a game of chess before he expired...."no a drink of water would be nice though". Seriously though, Bard has got to learn to bear down on 0-2 counts and with 2 outs in an inning...he just really seems to drift off to someplace. To his credit he does know it and admit it but he has to get it worked out. Has to slow down the ever growing mountain of walks also.

It is almost like V was punishing Bard for the walks he took earlier in the game. There was no reason to leave him in there. Nothing to be learned....nothing to be gained.....NOTHING. I can see where this is going to get nasty. I better jump over to the fearless predictions thread to predict V limping out of town with one year remaining on his two year contract. What the hell...get it in early.

NIce couple days V......almost lost us the game yesterday.....ended up leaving a nuclear warhead for Youk to pick up this morning and blew out Bard this afternoon. Very nice Bobby...you are a genius after all and I bow to you.

Have to admit...when Ross takes his first few steps in any direction you would swear he is wearing Scuba flippers on his feet. Bard gets out of the inning yea!!!!!!!

On the other side of things we are not making Shields work very much.....a shame with the arson squad sitting in their bullpen. Wouldn't that just piss them off no end if they got nicknamed the arson squad?

I am beginning to be a bit more convinced that Bard is working some of these hitters this way. Salty wanted that last FB to Longoria inside and Bard got it there for a FB K. God help him if he had missed that by even a little bit though if it got more of the plate.
