Actually more than anything I just did not want them to go down the arb path with him as I did not think he would get offers that would net the Sox draft picks. If they were going to keep paps I wanted them to negotiate with him and then use the saved money for more pitching.

I wanted them to get pitching with the Paps money...totally unprepared for him to prepare himself for this season the way he did...incredible job.

Felix has been staked to a nice lead here. Gotta keep bringin' it. Sox have been much more patient at the plate today also. Even though Garcia has been dog do I suspect these guys had themselves a sit before this game. There are noticeable differences here in their approach to their plate appearances.

Man did you see Ortiz running...the condition he has come into this season with and the preparation for this season is something truly special and memorable. He would kick Agons ass all to hell in a 40 yard dash.

Geez trying to catch a little of the hockey game in between...went over just before Pedey came up and it was 1-0 caps. As waiting for pitching change it is now 2-2 tied!! Must have been a hell of a 4 minutes!
