Well this could be a whole thread by itself...first off some of the instances when the ball is in front of him...it is there because it popped right out of his mitt
second, he stabs at the ball all to often instead of letting the ball come to him which is in part why the thing misses his mitt
third he really does not block the ball at all well...watch him in comparison to a good defensive catcher and then see if you think he does a good job of keeping the ball in front of him
Fourth he makes some incredible mental mistakes out there
then if I were a pitcher I would probably aim at his head until he smarted up and gave me a decent target...
that is for starters....without even talkin' about his arm
