Yea I was watchin' some damn show the other day that nothing to do with sports...guy commented regarding a description for Boston...guy said "think San Francisco with racsim and ya' got it" Thought that was a bit much but I am sure there are still pockets in Boston that have not advanced much.

Plus he is not really pitching badly tonight...had some first inning issues and has struggled a bit but it is a lousy night to be pitching. Gripping the ball must be hell on wheels tonight

Wonder if the WS pen is equally yucky...not makin' 5 innings isn't near as important as stayin' in the game. He should not have been there for that second Salty homer...that looked like a V move

You are probably right although the info so far has been so sketchy it has been positively Patriots like. Thinkin' that the injury has been downplayed so much that the surgery could be pretty minor. In reality the reason he is probably trying rehab is because it leaves the door open a crack instead of slammin' it completely on the season.

Well this could be a whole thread by itself...first off some of the instances when the ball is in front of him...it is there because it popped right out of his mitt second, he stabs at the ball all to often instead of letting the ball come to him which is in part why the thing misses his mitt third he really does not block the ball at all well...watch him in comparison to a good defensive catcher and then see if you think he does a good job of keeping the ball in front of him Fourth he makes some incredible mental mistakes out there then if I were a pitcher I would probably aim at his head until he smarted up and gave me a decent target... that is for starters....without even talkin' about his arm
