  1. Holt has turned into a very professional hitter. Not a great hitter but a professional hitter. We have a lotta' talent from the left side but it is young and is sometimes just brutal.
  2. Now if Smith can put two one inning stints back to back like that, we might have a way to move some of these stiffs to "shall we say" a more fitting spot in the pen sequence.
  3. Atta boy vaz pick it up with your hand, not with your mask.
  4. Well, hard to walk it off on the road. So yes that will be a miracle and yes we would owe you big in that case.
  5. Beni I have faith in because he is young and I have seen what he can do with a bat when he keeps his hands inside and does not have that ridiculous long swing. Doesn't he look at video. Does he not see how ridiculous he looks with that big swing? JBJ has a much more disturbing problem. He is older, should have figured more out and his problem is worse. He can't see the baseball because he has no head discipline right now. Its a bit late in the game to lose his head discipline.
  6. It is a bit disturbing that most of our hitting problems are from the left side because it ties Cora's hands. Thats why I am glad Holt is back. He might add something that we are struggling with at the moment.
  7. Hitters go through streaks. Beni and JBJ happen to be on bad streaks which makes sense based on how they are swinging at the moment. Vaz is as well. The top of the order is pretty hot except for beni and the bottom can't seem to buy a hit. Just the way it is dude.
  8. Even if the Sox don't score here they are going to have to come with kimbrel just to prevent another walkathon
  9. yea OK OB..."Barnes came through". The Jays got themselves out. All they had to do was not lift the bat off their shoulders.
  10. They just have to get on him about letting that swing get so big. Thats all. JBJ is another story
  11. Oh God that pitch should have ended the game
  12. Should have walked this guy already
  13. What are the jays doing. Just stand there with the bat on your shoulders dummies. Barnes will walk you home
  14. What are we doing? Is anybody in that dugout watching this?
  15. Nunez brake pads are shot
  16. I am sorry but this is vintage 2017 Barnes. Anybody that does not believe it didn't watch the games.
  17. Vaz don't waste a single pitch with barnes. He may never find the strike zone again.
  18. Oh look....another walk from our pen as soon as they come in the game. Lets have this discussion again since I seem to be on the losing end of it for some reason.
  19. We have at least two guys from the left and sometimes three when devers is not hitting that are making things tough. Beni's swing is way too big with his hands outside the ball. JBJ simply loses sight of the ball the deeper it gets in the zone. No head discipline.
  20. Nicely done Hanley. Beni keeps going back to this swing that is just wayy to long for him with his hands outside the baseball. Then he brings his hands in for a game or two, hits again,, then goes back to this swing that is just ridiculous.
  21. Looks to me like the ump thinks mookies foot came off the bag while the tag was on and I actually do not think his foot came off. See how the ump kept looking for mookies foot
  22. If Mookie gets a chance he might take 2nd here
  23. Have you not noticed how "well" that works out for them, particularly the last couple of years? There is no time to peck and pock and if there is time, then you will have it from the corner of the bag. Nunez was past the hand and had to come back to it which is actually normally what happens with the infielder tries to tag that way.
  24. Come on Sox Push a darned run across.
