Great now three in the booth has devolved into who between Eck and Jerry can comment on the Home Plate ump calls more and more accurately. It was a strike OK. For God sake....its NESN that is devolving. Nice shot Jackie.

You have to wonder if the lack of run support gets to him. I mean my God....enough is enough already. What is the ERA of starting pitchers v Sox? It must be something ridiculous regardless of who we start.

Here Here...they have to expand two teams at a time. So that is at least 80 roster bodies ready to don a ML uni. I can find at least 80 roster bodies that DON'T deserve to even sniff a ML unis right now.....half of them wearing them as we speak!

Actually I liked Eck all the way up to this year. Somebody thought it was a good idea to send him to the Yes Network school of sports broadcasting and he has been pretty hard to take this year as a result. In fact I suspect the Yes crew would be shaking their heads at him this year.

Very fine series of baseball with the added advantage of having WON IT!!!! That is likely the best pitching performance we are ever going to see out of ERod. Very well done indeed. Put that Change to LH hitters in a box no larger than a ball and a half just off the corner and the Twins clearly treated it like a pitch that would leak back over the corner. And we got runs.....they came off of the worst Gibson I have ever seen and off of Haaavid. But they were runs none the less.

I have kept thinking that ERod would throw that Change TOO the corner instead of off it and that would be that because.....well....its ERod.

Gotta' hand it to ERod. He has thrown that Change to exactly the same spot to the LH hitters all night long. Just off the inside corner.

I actually think X was out twice. You could see his jersey move against the glove. So I think he was out on a tag and out at the base.

6-4 might look impressive for the offense but Gibson was godawful. We are really no better off right now than if the score was 2-0 and that ain't been workin' lately.

Absolute worse performance I have ever seen from Gibson v Sox. Can't believe he stayed out there this long.

Gibson absolutely deserved that and WORSE. He cannot grip his two seam after his four seam. Just losses his two seam grip entirely after throwing a four seam and can't throw a four seem for a strike. Devers actually hurt himself last time he was on the base paths, not this time. He limped home on the run he scored.

Gibson relegated to throwing back to back curves is pretty weird.

Gibson keeps trying to hand us the game and we won't take it.
