Should have pumped JD high heat inside at the 2-2 count. I simply have no clue what goes through these players heads. JD CANNOT hit high heat inside...can't hit it to save his life. This guy is throwing 99 and won't throw it....just nuts....Did somebody slip me some LSD.....I can't believe what I am seeing. But like I said, I would be lying if I said I was not entertained. Might be the most entertaining game of the year so far. Now if we would just win it!

I will say this much for it..this has been a hysterically funny, entertaining game to watch for those that like to look between the pitches....just a hysterically entertaining game in some ways. You know the players are actually doing everything they can do. That is the scary part.

So this is the dilemma for DD. Do we really need another ******* like Brewer or Walden or Hembree or any number of knuckleheads we have slumbering and tossing sunflower seeds out in that pen. I DON"T THINK SO! We need an actual pitcher and we will have to give something up to get one.

Well that was predictable. Real smart battery...keep throwing them curve balls up there climbing the ladder with them until the hitter finally can't help himself and hits one. Dumb....Dumb....Dumb

I can see why Cora is doing this. But this is a good example for why the Starter CANNOT simply go 4+ and pat himself on the back on his way to the dugout. Price has got to find a way to get through 6. I don't care what he does to pull it off but he has to get through 6 anyway. Frankly even that is disgusting for a starting pitcher. We have lulled ourselves into thinking there is something admirable about a starter going 6 innings and sure enough, now they can't even do that. Human nature strikes again.

Could you imagine if Tampa has a fan base like we had and Cash pulled that crap. He would need extra security and a helicopter just to get outta' the park.

I really had myself convinced that Price was about two years down the road in transition from where Sale was going. Now I am not so sure. Price seemed to pull this particular approach tonight out of his ******* and it should have stayed crammed up there. Cash for his part has gone batshit crazy this year.

Price had thrown a bit harder than usual tonight and by about 80 pitches that FB had flattened out and was quite hittable. So was his cutter and I have no idea where he hid his Change tonight. I guess he decided this would be his POWER game for about 4 innings and 93 pitches.....ridiculous.

The only thing shocking is how piss poor our rotation is. There are worse rotations for sure. But to have an asset that was supposed to be superior be even less than ordinary is hard to take.

Utterly ridiculous. Not "shocking" at all Eck. Here Price is facing a fleet of hitters just dying to swing...swinging from the dugout and he STILL can't get through 5 innings.

The Rays are really convinced that Price is going to throw a 0-0 get me over and get ahead pitch and that time the hitter was right. That said, the Rays have been right twice in 4+ innings.
