    I can somewhat see what the original poster is saying in that I hate when ppl talk nothing but stats. I do agree people look way to into stats and then base a player or a team off of those stats. But at the same time I think its going a little far to say this isn't the Boston Red Sox. Its just a bunch of guys wearing the jerseys..... If we make the playoffs (which we should) that is still an amazing thing to do in the MLB especially in our division with Tampa and the Yankees. Right now I don't even want to get into why the Red Sox are struggling so bad, but all I know is they control their own destiny. They are in a playoff spot right now and this team is known to be streaky. If they make the playoffs they will turn everything on full blast. I don't blame anyone for being upset with the team right now, but to say this isn't the real Red Sox is a little harsh.

    I feel a lot more comfortable now that Lester is pitching. Maybe they should wear the red jerseys again Hmmmm anyone know what Bostons record is when they wear those third jerseys lol?

    I must admitt I didnt see this coming at all, and I dont want to bother making excuses as to why..... I remember just 3 weeks ago saying how funny it would be if Tampa got the wild card and knocked out the Yankees.... I had no idea that we would be sitting here today only 3 games in front of Tampa.... I still think this team has what it takes to pick themselves up and make the playoffs. We play Toronto tomorrow, if we lose that game then ill hit the panic button a little bit more...... (As if im not panicing enough as it is)

    My thinking exactly..... Last time I checked Jays were up 4-3 on the Yanks..... Saw the final score and the Yanks won, I shouldnt be surprised but it brings extra pressure for the Sox to keep winning. Although it shouldnt be to much to ask for Boston to win at least one game in this series against Texas.

    Hopefully this game lit a fire under the Red Sox ass.... Same thing happened last series when the Yanks beat us in game one... Sox came out and dominated the next 2. Hopefully it will be a better day tomorrow. Didnt get to see the game tonight, only the highlights. Was surprised to see the Sox struggle so bad offensively Oh well one game I guess.

    Didnt get to see the first game, saw the second game..... We lose the game I watch, no surprise there Oh well...... wont get to down, I didnt expect we would sweep Tampa anyway.

    Oh theres no doubt about it that Tampa is still a good team, they are a bit streaky as of late but nobody can look past the them thats for sure. What would be epicly hilarious is if they continue this streak and grab that wild card instead of the Yanks haha.

    I have to admit in the fourth I was saying some pretty mean things about Lackey! But he had a real solid game today. His last few starts have been impressive to watch. Huge win for the Sox. And now its time to drink beer and watch Cops..... Uuuugh.... Good times.

    By the way I keep telling myself I dont want a Sox jersey because they are to expensive, but damn..... every time I see the red ones they are so sharp. I may cave and get one :(

    Revenge game today! I have a good feeling about Lackey. Plz dont dissapoint Something about seeing the Yanks in 1st place, just makes my stomach turn...... its just not right.

    Maybe were just cursed when we play Chicago...... In the middle of watching the game, my power went out and we had a massive storm...... I blame my non watching as to why we lost

    Im a Seahawks fan....... And things are just getting worse for Seattle lol.... If I dont laugh about it I may just cry. Hass is now a Titan..... We bring in T Jackson from Minnesota, and Matt Leinhart from the Texans (used to play for Arizona behind Kurt Warner) The only reason the Seahawks won a playoff game last year was because Hass was lights out on the Saints defense.... This could be a very long year for Seattle. The only good thing TJack brings to the table for Seattle is he is dangerous out of the pocket. He is very fast (almost another Vick) However his accuracy is terrible, and if you can contain him and force him to stay in the pocket he is pretty much worthless.

    Didnt get to see the game tonight Glad we got the win, but its to bad Miller had such a bad game..... I had alot of hope for this guy. His inconsistency is rank though. I think tonight's game is really gonna hurt Miller though. As I was watching the highlights I saw a fan catch a ball and it looked like he was going to throw it back lol?? I didnt get what happened there. It looked like he saw security or something and stopped.

    Good to see the site up and running I was hoping it wasnt just on my end last night lol. I didnt get to see the game But Im happy to hear Lackey had a good game. His last couple starts have been pretty good it sounds like. Hopefully he can keep it up. Yankees losing today put a smile on my face as well So far great day lol.
