    A lot better shape then we were yesterday. Clay is looking a little bit more relaxed out there. Wish we could really get a strong lead. We will need it once our pen comes out lol.

    Same here. Even if we lose this game. I would like to see some effort from the offensive side. I know there has been some hate on our pitching, but if we go three games in a row with no offense that's just scary especially with Toronto coming up.

    That's how they roll! It's much more fun to give the fans a heart attack throughout the game rather then take the lead in the first inning.

    I was wondering the same thing!! And it doesn't get any easier. Toronto's offense is going to be a real tough test for us.

    It's not so much I am upset about losing the second game. This is a game we should be winning regardless if it's the second game or the 100th game. No way we should be losing 5 0. It makes me mad because this is two years in a row we have opened losing like this. But I'll control myself. Perhaps a comeback is coming.

    Pathetic so far. Beckett just doesn't seem himself today. Whether its an injury or not he is not helping us any. The offense has yet to show up to. Yesterday I gave them the benefit of the doubt against Verlander but this is sad.

    Couldn't agree more. I defended the Sox as much as I could Thursday when they lost. But if they get beat today I really will have no excuses lol. Let's go Sox!!!!

    To early for me to predict anything yet but call me crazy. I see Toronto being a strong competitor this yr. i dont know if they will make the playoffs but i think they will have a better chance then Tampa. Torontos offense scares me a bit.

    Well like i said in another thread it sucks a bit that its against Detroit who has good pitching. I am not expecting us to put up 8 or 9 on this team especially with Verlander pitching. Guess ill have to start training in case they call me up to pitch lol.

    Sounds about right to me. Either way I am not expecting a huge explosion on offense in the series against Detroit. Our Pitchers will have to play great, Detroit is a tough team to score alot of runs on especiallu when Verlander is starting. I cant frickin wait!!!!!

    Instead of deciding between Aceves or Bard we should just make it simple.... Leave both out of the starting Five. And take Miller sure its a gamble, but hey sometimes in life you just have to take risks Anyhow ive said my irrelevant pointless statement for the night. Im off to bed. Night all!

    I think he needs a few more starts give a solid opinion. I wasn't able to watch the game but apparently he had a couple nice innings. He just seems to be inconsistent right now. But I do think Bard had a lot of talent but his last couple of starts in ST have done him no justice. However it's not enough for me to say he sucks just yet. Be curious to see his post game interview after.

    I wonder what it is about ST that some pitchers just look awful. Rust and probably don't have the adrenaline that regular season holds would be the obvious I suppose lol.

    Trying to convince my work to plug my I phone in so we can all listen to the Red Sox game on the radio tonight. Not going so well damn professionals......
