Against the Yankees? You’re making out like he gave up 6 runs and the game is over already. Porcello always gives up early dingers. Let’s see how Price finishes.

If not for the error it would be 2-1. Price hasn’t been great but the game is manageable.

When the f*** did I say Price has been perfect? Learn to read. I said MUCH BETTER INNING. even the best pitchers have off nights. That error was crucial on Nunez. If not for that it would be 2-0 and still manageable. I can’t stand when people put words in my mouth.

Damn outside of that dinger it was actually a decent inning for Price. He hasn’t been great like I said. But he still hasn’t been horrible. Offensively we need to wake up.

We have had a fantastic year but against teams like Houston and the Yanks. I can honestly say Boston hasn’t done anything overly impressive to Convince me we can win. It will be a tough series but the outcome I don’t know.

The walks have been brutal. Price seems a little nervous of the Yankees lineup. Regardless it should be 1-0 right now. An error like that just can’t happen against the Yankees. Price hasn’t been great like the last few weeks but he’s been far from bad.

Ya I agree with this. Sale has had a lot of rest and looked pretty good. Still some baseball left and still time to get in more time for him. If he blows it again in the playoffs (in my opinion) there is nobody to blame other than Sale himself.

All valid points people. I never doubt that Porcello can’t go 6 or 7 innings. He is very consistent in staying in games and getting some nasty strikeouts. I just get worried about giving up an early dinger or two to a team like Houston.

Anyone else getting slightly concerned about Porcello come playoffs? The man started the year on fire and looked like he might be getting back to his 2016 self. But his last handful of games I would be lying if I said I wasn’t slightly nervous how he will perform against a team like The Yankees, Astros or Guardians. His last performance against the Yanks was a gem so he does have it in him. But he still gives up entirely too many dingers in the early going. Maybe it’s just me.....
