    I agree... my sons actually love the alternative uniforms... they tell me it connects with Boston as it is the marathon colors. I respond, "You know what else connects with Boston... The Red Sox!"

    I used to love going to Vegas.... but man the last few years it felt sooo expensive for every little thing... and it felt trashier every time I went.... but that said I'll probablly go again, lol. Red Rocks my favorite place to stay.

    Kike' just is in a rut.... looks like he is off in every aspect of his game. He needs traded to a different team and to have a fresh start. He's never going to be some amazing player- but he is better than this. I sure don't need to see him manning SS again this year.

    It is looking like that- but boy we can't afford those on days we have an actual starting pitcher on the mound. With all these forced bull pen games- we need better effort by the team on these games.

    Turner at 2nd... quite interesting? I'm ready for a game though!!! I must confess I've found a .500 team with potential to tip things toward an exciting winning team quite fun to watch this year.

    I might be becoming one.... I was really down on this team... but as I assess it at the half-way point... gotta' say I like it and see where it could go on quite a run. They've managed to stay above .500 without half of a pitching staff, without a SS, without a 2B. Houck and Sale will likely give us some quality starts over the second half. Story- no matter how far behind he is will be a huge improvement over our SS play in the first half. I think the leash shortens on Casas the more competitive we get and Turner plays a bit more 1B also. I see no reason that we can't make a run. We are seeing Tampa Bay crash back to earth... and the rest of the AL East teams are in our reach. So Bloom made some horrible moves- namely Kluber, and putting every day postiion status on Kike. But got to give him credit for Yoshi, Turner, Wong, Chris Martin... kinda give him credit for Duran.... overall I think I find more to like about this team than what I see not to like. Not a Bloom fan---- but close.

    I feel 2nd is as much as a hole as SS is. But would rather see Story come back to SS when he is fully ready like you said.
