I'm loving this. I have family in the Baltimore/VA area, and I rooted for the O's all last year. As long as they stay away from the Sox, I will root for them. Crush Davis is really killing it. Can't wait to see him tomorrow.
Well my aunt took me to Buchholz's almost no-no the day before the Marathon and we sat at field level. She can hook me up for sure. I've always wanted to experience a playoff atmosphere in Boston. This season is ideal, coming off the Marathon bombings. I also want to go to an NFL game. I'm a New York fan for NFL, so I want to see Peyton vs Eli round III in September. I might have to stick with Sox tickets. Would be even better if it was the actual date of my birthday.
My birthday is October 16th, which is generally during the first few games of the ALCS. Should I ask for playoff tickets for the ALDS, or wait and hope they get to the ALCS and beyond?
I'm thinking ALDS.
I think they have a shot at 100. Their strength of schedule in August is incredibly weak. Astros, Royals, Blue Jays, Giants, White Sox all included. The way they've been playing, especially at home, I wouldn't be surprised if they make it to 100.
This A's series will be fun. The 2 best AL teams. Pitching will be important as always playing in the giant coliseum. If the Red Sox still find a way to score 8+ runs like they have in the last 3 games, I will be impressed.
I know some pretty sketchy and shifty people myself. Not AJ Pollock though. Did anybody see the catch he made last night? To think that I'm going to the same high school as him in the fall.
I was too young to comprehend it. The first time I saw Jeter play, they weren't playing the Sox. My half brother lives in Manhattan and I was watching a game at his apartment. I think it was in 2003.
