Great points. The Sox have worked the counts against opposing pitchers all year, and I don't expect that to change. They know that the sooner they get Moore out of the game tomorrow, the better. That is how they've won a lot of the games against top notch pitchers like Scherzer, Price, Kuroda and Moore. They are making them work, eventually clasp using them to be wild or to leave pitches right over the heart of the plate. Our great pitching has also clearly helped us, and I fully expect it to stay that way in the postseason. Think about this. Clay Buchholz, an early season Cy Young candidate, is now our #3 starter.
