    every team goes through tough skids... we just happen to have had ours early and before the all-star break. the yanks are due for theirs with their age hopefully catching up with them and some tough road games ahead... as for the rays hanging around, i just don't see them making a "push". they'll linger around but i'm not too worried about them.

    the yankees just won't seem to die. they have to go through a little bit up a "slump" in the second half with the road games. i'm not scared going up against them because we match up well against them, but they just won't lose! granderson and teix are willing that team to win. and their backend of their lineup isn't as retarded as ours! my girl even said last night(when macdonald came up to bat)," isn't his average really low?" i had no response.......

    i hate not watching the sox in october! for the last couple of years my brothers and i have taken a trip down to the keys to watch the sox at this bar called The Lazy Gecko. it's pretty sweet! a freakin red sox bar in Key West! can't get any better than that!

    i have no faith in lackey, but i'm optimistic on the simple fact that we CAN'T keep slumping like this.... usually we own the NL, but the back end of our lineup is killing us.... Lackey needs to pull off what Lee did last night for us to have a chance...

    you don't have to only buy the "real" tiant t-shirt jersey. there's plenty of sites that will custom make a shirt for you. just say that your last name is tiant and you want #23.

    lol... i hear ya... and anytime you go to the ballpark you can guarantee stains! and there is no dry-cleaner or magic stick or shout that will get stains out of the white jerseys... definitely don't waster your money.... especially on an authentic....

    i wouldn't be suprised to see dmac or cam knock around a few hits tonight, of course with nobody on, and then die at the plate with risp, giving tito further reason to keep throwing them in the lineup and keep us bitching about them on this site..... more headaches to come....

    go with your own personalized jersey. your name will never retire from being a sox fan. i have so many old jerseys from past players that i really only take out on special occasions. the whole left side of my closet is filled with old garciaparra, martinez, schill, etc. i'm thinking about just hanging those up on my wall to officially retire them. but if you had to go with one now, grab a red gonzo jersey. white gets too dirty and Agon is gonna be a beast for years to come!

    i think JD gives us a weakness at every ballpark. sure, he'll scater some hits every now and then, but it seems like he's getting fooled on a ton of called third strikes. and then here's his face...."EMOTIONLESS". him and dice-k would should change careers and just enter staring contests.... blank emotionless staring contests...
