    Awesome win today. However, can anyone explain why Reddick isn't playing over the horrid mcdonald or cameron? They suck and reddick. Has only been spectacular in his appearences this season.

    To join the discussion of Best Pitching (i.e., best defense) wins championships: it is legit, cliche or not... though of course not 100% Giants pitching beat Rangers. And if we look at football, the #1 defense of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the #1 offense of the Oakland Raiders in SB XXXVII 48-24 in 2003. But thats prob neither here nor there, i'm just anxious for football season, too! LETS SWEEP THE PHILLIES!!!

    Can we drop McDonald or Cam for Reddick please? Though I understand you're just showing the avg. that lineup has vs. Lee. Reddick is performing fantastically right now. Makes me wonder if he'll be involved in a trade. Too bad we can't see anything of Kalish. How is he recovering from his injury, anyone know??

    I can't help but constantly think about our Phillies 3-game set coming up. I was looking at ESPN statistics and Phillies are 1st in ERA(3.04) and Quality Starts(47), 2nd WHIP(1.19) and 6th BAA(.243). Boston is 1st in Runs(369), BA(.274), On Base(.347) and 2nd Slugging(.445) It looks as if it will be Beckett-Lackey-Lester vs. (maybe) Lee-Oswalt-Worley Our bats seem to get pretty cold vs. good pitching but when they got hot in a game they stay hot (like today vs Brewers.) Crawford won't be there but hopefully Reddick will fill in and McDonald & Sutton will sit. So, what do you guys think? How we going to handle the Best NL team & Pitching on NL turf? Who sits more often, Ortiz or Gonzo? I almost wish interleague didn't count or didn't exist but this will be good prep for possible WS match-up. Discuss?

    Wheeler is looking better. Where is Jenks? Im hoping the two of them a top notch come october....and at least good condition after all-star....

    Reddick has got be added in the lineup. McDonald/Sutton/Cameron are not our guys. Its gonna suck watching Ortiz or Gonzo sit during away interleague games. Get rid of interleague... poo...

    Id much rather get a new #5 pitcher and let scuttaro play SS and let iglesias get a some playtime too. Reyes is badass but our offense is pretty much stacked at this point.

    I don't think Buch is gonna throw a 1-hitter like Beckett, but he is pitching really well recently. I hope the bats come alive tonight, it'd be great to leave TB with a bang! It's too bad Lackey & Wake are pitching against the better pitchers of the Brewers though...

    I don't think we can blame anyone but the batters on this one. Wakefield did his job. Sure, the bullpen let up some runs but we lost 4-0 and we average 6 runs since May and like 5 1/2 in all, so... Shields just cooled our hot bats. Tomorrow is a better day. I'm so curious to see what additions we will have for the trade deadline.

    If we win the WS this year I think Ellsbury would be stupid to leave such an awesome team. I hate that players will ditch amazing teams just for money. I'd rather make less and win WS and be apart of the best fan base in the world.... There will be the money it seems though in 2013. I hope we keep him.
