I proposed this idea 2 months ago. I think it would be nice. I just don't want Lackey on our team. However, there is probably 2% chance of this happening.

I bet we'll see Lackey give a "Lackey-Quality start" next time (9 hits, 4 runs, 2 walks over 6.1) and the red sox staff will be like "Nice, Lackey is okay..." and then that'll be enough to keep them from DL-ing him and we'll see him go 3 outtings of 5-9+ ER then another "Lackey-Quality Start" Red Sox can get a lot of wins this year. Maybe they will win the division, too. I think we will see some playoff games, but the World Series is at the very soonest a 2012 dream. I mean, can you really go to the WS with just Beckett & Lester & Buch (maybe Buch, injury pending...) HOWEVER, the All-Star break is almost here and everything can change at the mid-way point. GO SOX! Let's win tonight and then focus on tomorrow

Lackey & McDonald ... Why was McDonald called up to PH for Reddick the other day? He had 3 LOB and 3 SO pretty sure... FAIL. Miller NEEDS to prove himself against good teams and under more pressure. I am confident he can do this but we need to see it. Lackey sucks. End of story. You can't win a WS with this guy. We need #4 or #5 SP (depending on what you count Miller as) Where is Doubront? Or someone... I think this is more important than RF (REDDICK!)

What are Reddicks career #'s vs. RH Pitchers? He's pretty much on fire right now. Who knows, maybe he can hit superbly vs. the RHP.

Varitek must feel good. Woulda' been amazing to see back to back to back with Reddick. Jut 3 feet short. Reddick looks great though with the triple and single and scored run. It should be Crawford, Ellsbury, Reddick for the rest of the season till Reddick's bat proves us otherwise. McD can go to single A now.

So, what... Red Sox can't survive away games vs. NL.... what does that mean if we make it to the WS? I have to say, Lackey was IMPRESSIVE. I mean, 2ER and an RBI double. That's pretty sweet. Sadly, our offense just couldn't get it done. A-Gon is amazing, adjusting his stroke vs Worley and getting that single vs. the same pitch down low.

So... I am in LA area right now and I have ESPN2 on AND... It is some stupid ESPN special interviewing Ohio Stat Univ. football players, but the guide on the television says its supposed to be baseball. WTF????? And nvm.. I switched to ESPN and its on... even though it says ESPN has Sports Center... stupid guide.

Clearly Beckett has it in him to keep going strong and we all know Lester and Buch can be stellar (and they will be, though probably not Halladay/Lee good.) But I wonder if Miller is going to be our #4? I wonder who we will acquire or bring up. A rookie/youngin' needs to step up or we need another good deal if we want anymore Championships. I can't wait to see Kalish and Iglesias to get the permanent call-up to the ML, too.

Red Sox have NO payroll? Preposterous. Surely there is money around. I mean, we can always just print more like the US does, right? I can't imagine adding Reyes b/c we [obviously] spent [most] of our money on Gonzalez & CC. However, there is surely money laying around to grab someone. Honestly, we could probably survive with Scutaro/Lowrie at SS and if Theo WAKES UP (I don't know WTF is going on) he'll put Reddick out there in RF. The bullpen needs some solid people. That guy Roberston (I think, he has an avg 2k/ip & 1.19 ERA) is amazing on the Yanks. We need someone like him. Wheeler & Jenks need to learn to hit the strike zone again... Next season we can assassinate Dice-K in Japan at take him off the payroll and drop JDrew like Israel drops bombs on Palestine. That should free up money. It's funny I feel more excited for the off season right now. I'm worried about this team. But, everything changes after the All-Star break. So, ANYTHING could happen. I still think we can win the division. However, Bombers are crushing the ball right now. It is because of all this interleague ******** we feel worried or concerned about our Sox!
